Captions for your video
Most short videos are watched on mute. If your video is already edited and just needs captions, this is the short route: upload it, pick a style, get the finished video back. Nothing gets cropped — the picture stays exactly as you handed it over.
How it works
- 01
Upload your video
Your finished edit, whether 9:16, 1:1 or landscape. Aspect ratio and resolution stay as they are.
- 02
Pick a style
Set the typeface, the highlight and the accent colour — the preview shows you how it will look.
- 03
Download
You get the same video back, just with captions burned in.
Highlighted word by word
The captions follow the speech: the word being spoken is highlighted, instead of a whole block sitting still. It is the same caption look LucFlow puts on edited clips — not a second, weaker method for uploads.
The picture stays untouched
No automatic cropping, no reformatting, no AI reassembling your video. If you edited it yourself, that was a decision — a caption tool should not overrule it.
Language is detected
The audio is transcribed and the language detected automatically; English and German are the common cases. Mistakes happen, especially with names and unclear audio — but it takes seconds instead of half an hour of typing.
If you still need to cut
For long videos and streams this is the wrong tool: you want clips cut out first. LucFlow does that in the studio — and the captions come along anyway.
FAQ
Will my video be cropped or reformatted?
No. Width, height and picture content stay unchanged — only the captions are added.
How long can the video be?
Up to 15 minutes. For longer videos use the normal studio route, which cuts individual clips out of them.
Can I change how the captions look?
Yes — typeface, highlight style, outline and accent colour. The preview shows your setting before you submit.
What does it cost?
One credit per started minute of video, same as clipping. The free plan includes credits; videos made on it carry a small LucFlow mark.
Do I get the captions as a file?
Not at the moment — captions are burned into the video. A separate subtitle file is not available yet.
